World Health Organisation recommends mothers worldwide to exclusively breastfeed infants for the child's first six months to achieve optimal growth, development and health. Thereafter, the babies should be given nutritious complementary foods and continue breastfeeding up to the age of two years or beyond.

Employer's Guide to Breastfeeding at the Workplace
The Employer's Guide to Breastfeeding at the Workplace is produced jointly by NTUC U Family, Health Promotion Board (HPB) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). It provides employers with information on what they can do to support employees to continue breastfeeding after returning to work.
